Diana Alvear

A former network news correspondent, Diana Alvear is a Peabody award winning journalist and communications expert. Diana wrangles both executive & employee communications at LinkedIn, working to introduce new ways of storytelling to the Marketing and Communications team. Previously, she was at Verizon, producing and hosting their corporate news show, pitching local markets about new promotions and launching a future technology-focused podcast. 

Her 15+ year news career spans anchoring local news in Charlotte and working for ABC and NBC News as a correspondent. Highlights of her journey include reporting live during the Chilean miner rescue, the 2011 Royal Wedding, the Japan earthquake and nuclear disaster, the Oscars red carpet and many more stories in between. She wrote a kids book about her kitty Sal, she used to teach Muay Thai kickboxing, but her favorite role is mommy to her little boy and girl. She lives in NJ with her family, 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Lou Dubois

Lou Dubois is the Sr. Director - Head of Content, Creative & HDTV at The Home Depot. In this role, he works with teams across the organization to tell the story of Home Depot, its strategic priorities, history, product and people, to audiences external and internal. Previously, he led similar teams at Hilton and at NBCUniversal, and was responsible for multiple award-winning films, content initiatives and products spanning the organizations. He also worked on a team responsible for social/digital strategy at NBC News for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, the 2012 Presidential Election and more, where the work was recognized with both a Peabody and an Emmy Award. He began his career at Sports Illustrated and has also worked at Inc. Magazine, the Associated Press and more. He holds a degree in journalism from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and lives in Park City, Utah.
